Accessibility Statement
This statement applies to content published under the domain: rescueline.com.cy
N.T. RESCUELINE AUTOSERVICES LTD (hereinafter "the Company") is committed to providing digital services accessible to all users – regardless of disability or special needs.
Use of Our Website
Browsing most parts of our website can be accomplished using modern assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech recognition software, or keyboard-only navigation. You can also activate the accessibility menu by clicking the accessibility icon located on the left side of the page.
Compliance Status
Our web pages are partially compliant with the European standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This means that while many parts of our services meet these standards, there are still areas where accessibility improvements are needed.
Our Approach to Accessibility
- Governance & Reporting: Compliance is overseen by our company’s Accessibility Committee.
- Continuous Monitoring & Analysis: We conduct weekly automated accessibility tests using third-party tools such as the Browserstack Accessibility Testing suite to identify and fix issues.
- Training & Awareness: We train our employees on accessibility topics (basic training for all employees will be completed by the end of September 2025).
Known Accessibility Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility issues and are addressing them gradually:
- Forms: Although their use is less than 1% and they do not meet WCAG 2.1 A or PDF/UA accessibility criteria, outdated forms will be replaced by the end of September 2025.
- Contrast: Some elements do not fully meet the minimum color contrast ratio requirements.
- Keyboard Accessibility: Certain interactive elements are not fully accessible via keyboard.
- Name, Role, Value: Some elements have incomplete or incorrect roles or properties.
- Non-text Content: Some images lack appropriate descriptive alternative text.
- Skip Repetitive Content: Not all pages provide mechanisms for bypassing repetitive sections.
- Consistent Link Identification: In some cases, links to the same destination do not always have the same descriptive text.
- Heading Hierarchy: Some headings do not follow the correct hierarchical order.
We are continuously working to correct these issues and improve accessibility across our digital services.
